Our Mission

We STRIVE to promote growth and learning for active people through travel to unique locations, immersion in new cultures, and ethical volunteer projects and educational workshops, all while maintaining a safe and structured athletic training environment.

Promote cross cultural learning and relationships

  • Encourage community support through education about service, volunteer projects, and financial support

  • Provide student-athletes the opportunity to travel and volunteer abroad without sacrificing their training

  • Expand participants’ understanding of the world

  • Keep each participant safe, healthy, and energized during their Strive adventure

Our Goals

Why Strive:

Strive exists for students who are ready to see the world — and themselves — in a new way.

This is what becomes possible when students truly connect — free from their phones, distractions, and routines.

Traveling internationally is not just about where you go. It’s about who you become when you leave what is familiar. When students step into a different culture, language, landscape, and rhythm of life, something begins to shift. They start to see beyond the edges of their own experience. They learn to listen, adapt, and connect. They return home with a deeper sense of perspective, humility, and confidence.

At Strive, we believe the most powerful learning happens outside the classroom, in places that ask you to be present, curious, and brave. Our programs are intentionally designed to blend:

  • Cultural immersion

  • Service learning

  • Physical challenge

  • Reflection and community

Together, these experiences create a container where real growth can take root.

Students don’t just observe new cultures — they build relationships. They don’t just learn about global issues — they meet the people whose lives are shaped by them. And through that connection, they begin to understand that we are part of an interconnected global community, where our choices, values, and actions matter.

Strive is a space where students are supported to step beyond comfort, to lead with empathy, and to discover what they are capable of when they show up fully.

This is not a trip.
It’s a turning point.
